CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
Registration is open for the SPEMS Conference!!
  
This year there will only be 2 options:  
In-person at the Conference.
Virtually by watching videos at your pace at a later date.

There will NOT be a streaming option the day of the conference. 

Early registration ends on April 12, 2024 to ensure that all admin work is completed in time for the conference. You can still register online after that date and walk-in the day of the conference. 

Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices have gone up on everything so the conference price has increased to $75.00 this year.

This course will explore the critical intersection of mental health and emergency medical care. Participants gain practical knowledge and skills to address mental health crises in the field effectively. Through engaging discussions, hands-on exercises, and real-life scenarios, attendees will learn to recognize, assess, and respond to mental health concerns with confidence. Topics covered include understanding mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, psychosis, PTSD, and suicide, as well as practical techniques for crisis intervention. You will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to provide timely and appropriate EMS care. Additionally, you will discover local community resources for mental health support and learn how to access them efficiently. This course will empower you with the essential tools to enhance your patient care and support mental well-being in emergencies.
